Pat has an M.S. degree from the University of Illinois and an M.A. from DePaul. She spent 19 years at Leo Burnett retiring as VP- Associate Research Director. She founded a consulting company for ADA compliance, taught disability awareness at Motorola University, and for seven years guided those who had lost jobs (some after age 50) as a career consultant with Right Management. She also served five years, first as VP then President of the Board of Hearing Loss Association of America, and was a member of Advisory Boards of the National Institutes of Health (NIDCD), Knowles Center at Northwestern University and the National Captioning Institute.
