Women’s Discussion Group – Active Aging: Discover What’s Next For You with Joy Loverde

Joy Loverde, author of Who Will Take Care Of Me When I’m Old? (2017) will be giving a presentation on active aging. Highlights of the discussion will include “Age-in-Place Elephants in the Room” and “The Power of Self-Talk”. For over thirty years, Joy has remained one of the most visible spokespersons on the topic of active aging, eldercare, and caregiving.

During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase copies of Joy Loverde’s books through Open Books, a local nonprofit social venture that provides literacy experiences for thousands of readers each year through inspiring programs and creative capitalization of books.
