Walk with a Doc: Diet and the Mind

Dieting is more popular than ever, but with so many options and conflicting opinions, where do we start? Come walk and talk with cognitive neurologist and researcher Dr. Neelum Aggarwal to learn about simple, practical dieting habits that can improve mental functioning, reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, and improve overall wellbeing. This conversation will focus on proven diets such as the Mediterranean and DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diets, as well as introduce the MIND diet which focuses on dementia risk reduction.
Please note that this walk is not totally accessible – this is a 45 – 60 minute walk through the park, so attendees need to be able to do this length of walk.
