Jean Arthur, Edward Arnold, Ray Milland. The third richest banker in America, infuriated by the number of fur coats in his wife’s closet, grabs one and throws it off his penthouse balcony. It lands on Mary Smith (Arthur) while she is riding to work on a double-decker bus. Hilarity ensues. Also trenchant satire. Written by Preston Sturges.
