Saturday, November 28, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
Members & guests–free with a Netflix subscription. To RSVP, please scroll down. Registered attendees will then receive an email the day before the discussion with a link to join via Zoom.
Watch the film any time before the discussion–or enjoy the discussion and be persuaded to view it after! In 1969, seven people were charged by the federal government with conspiracy and more, arising from the protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. An actors’ showcase enlivened by its topical fact-based story, The Trial of the Chicago 7 plays squarely — and compellingly — to writer / director Aaron Sorkin’s strengths. Village members Ira Kohlman and Donna Renn will host a discussion of the film via Zoom this Saturday at 3:00 PM.
- Reservations required for all events.
- The Village aims to match participating members by request to Village events when other members who are attending the event are able to provide transportation. When registering, please let the Village office know if you are able to drive or would like a ride to an event.
