Learn from dietitian Alisa Bloom, MPH, RDN, LDN, CHWC, owner of Live Your Best 365, as we explore the role nutrition plays in brain health as we age, the impact of inflammation on our brains and bodies, nutrition-based treatment options and how small steps can lead to big health changes. This program is brought to you by the Health and Wellness Initiative Committee.
Alisa is a dietitian in practice for over 25 years. She works with people who are ready to invest in themselves to make lifestyle changes for better health through nutrition. Her coaching approach uses food as medicine, in customized, realistic steps. She also incorporates a functional nutrition approach, with herbs and supplements as needed. Her niche in practice is in developing a personalized road map to address the root cause for clients who, despite medication(s), are experiencing one or more symptoms of feeling unwell which have disrupted their lives.
