The LGBTA Committee of The Village has scheduled its fourth book discussion for 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3. We will be discussing Patricia Nell Warren’s The Front Runner, which was among the first gay-themed books to become a national best seller and translated into numerous languages for world-wide distribution. The book remains a seminal work in gay literature of the twentieth century.
The Committee’s book discussions provide an opportunity for Village members to read and discuss books about issues that have faced, and continue to confront, members of the LGBTA community, The discussions are open to all Village members. It is hoped that in this non-judgemental setting, members will find a forum for an open discussion about LGBTA issues. The discussion will be hosted by Peggy Walker and led by Bill Gordon.
- Reservations required for all events.
- The Village aims to match participating members by request to Village events when other members who are attending the event are able to provide transportation. When registering, please let the Village office know if you are able to drive or would like a ride to an event.
