Intergenerational Holiday Card Making

Wednesday, November 25

Free

Members & guests–free. The card-making activity will take place in early December, but participants must register by November 25. Please scroll down to RSVP.

Looking for a fun holiday season volunteer activity and share a love of volunteerism with the next generation? Join kindergarten students, and siblings, from Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in helping to craft messages of holiday cheer for older adults living in nursing homes.

During a short virtual session in early December, children will be supervised by their parents while they draw pictures. Village members will craft a message based upon the students’ ideas created in their pictures and later the drawing will be matted with the messages to help provide support to older adults during the holiday season.

Members must register for this volunteer opportunity by November 25th so supplies can be delivered. To sign up, please RSVP below.
