Learn from CEO of InhaleMD, President Association of Cannabis Specialists, Instructor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Dr. Jordan Tishler. As well as Illinois Women in Cannabis Member, Dr. Ingrid Liu, who is also a member of Society for Cannabis Clinicians, and Community Educator.
Join us as we learn from both doctors what conditions cannabis is used for and the importance of dosing and route of administration. Tune in, as this is a must for anyone considering incorporating cannabis in their medical treatment plan.
Dr. Tishler is a cannabis specialist who brings his knowledge, reason, and caring to patients at inhaleMD. Dr. Tishler graduated from both Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, trained at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and is faculty at both the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has spent many years working with the underserved, particularly providing care for Veterans. Having treated countless patients harmed by alcohol and drugs, his observation that he had never seen a cannabis overdose lead Dr. Tishler to delve deeply into the science of cannabis safety and treatment. Dr. Tishler is also a parallel entrepreneur working for patients’ wellbeing in the corporate space, helping to elevate dosing and safety profiles of medication, and helping to establish best practice for bringing new Cannabis products to market.
Dr. Ingrid Liu, D.O. with Progressive Health Primary Care in Oak Park, IL performs certification assessments for patients with a diagnosis of any qualifying debilitating conditions including cancer and PTSD as well as for any patient currently prescribed or could receive a prescription for opioids. Dr. Ingrid Liu has over 5 years of assisting patients, of all ages, with obtaining a medical cannabis registry card, integrating cannabis into an overall treatment plan, and with helping patients navigate all aspects of medicating with cannabis including finding the appropriate cannabis formulations, therapeutic dosing, and delivery methods. She has experience assisting patients that are new to cannabis as well as those who may have been using cannabis for years. Dr. Ingrid Liu is very familiar with the various medical cannabis products available to patients in Illinois medical cannabis dispensaries.
