The Village Chicago Research Committee invites members and guests to learn about the All of Us Research Program, a nationwide program with a simple mission: to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. To do this, they are asking one million or more people from all backgrounds to share their health data to build the largest database of its kind.
This data will become a resource that will allow researchers to conduct thousands of studies on health and disease. It will also help researchers find ways to make healthcare more personalized. People who join will share information about their health, habits, and what it’s like where they live. By looking for patterns, researchers will learn more about what affects people’s health. The goal is to help researchers understand more about why people get sick or stay healthy. If you decide to join you will be contributing to an effort to improve the health of generations to come.
Join this panel presentation to learn more about this historic research program from members of the Illinois Precision Medicine Consortium, which includes Northwestern Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Chicago, Rush University Medical Center, and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
