The world-famous and iconic Walnut Room was the first restaurant ever opened in a department store – Marshall Fields. With Circassian wood paneling imported from Russia and Austrian chandeliers, the dining room is both elegant and comfortable. Choose from three main options: Mrs Herring’s 1890 Chicken Pot Pie; caramelized salmon; or Butternut Squash Tortellacci. Evening entertainment and sing-along provided by Andy Teitelman, a musician and retired Director of Senior Services, Chicago Housing Authority. Andy brings passions for music and work with seniors together in leading sing-alongs in memory cafés throughout the Chicago area, in particular with The Memory Café, South Loop Village.
This program was originally scheduled for March 18, but has now been moved to Wednesday, June 17.
